You are eligible to vote if …

- You are a United States citizen

- You are a resident of California

- You are at least 18  (or will be by election)

- You are not in prison or on parole for a felony

- You have not been judged by a court to be incompetent

How to Register

Download a voter registration form or pick one up at the County Registrar of Voters.

Complete the form by answering all the questions.

Mail or bring to the County Registrar of Voters.

Re-Register When …

- You move

- You change your name

- You change your political party affiliation

Deadline to Register

In California, the deadline to register to vote for an election is 15 days before election day.
