ESCONDIDO: Police to conduct traffic checkpoint

ESCONDIDO ---- A traffic checkpoint is scheduled for Friday night somewhere in the city, police announced Wednesday. Police will set up the checkpoint to catch drunken drivers and people driving without a valid license, Lt. Tom Albergo said.
